Year 1 class teacher to cover maternity leave job summary

The Governors of Nether Green Infant School wish to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to join our team. This post will be a full time post teaching in Year 1 to cover a maternity leave and is likely to be until summer 2023 or the earlier return of the post holder. As a school we are committed to supporting the professional development of all teachers and have a very experienced staff that are keen to welcome a new teacher into their team; we welcome applications from newly or recently qualified teachers. We are looking for a teacher who:- • Is committed to deliver high quality learning experiences which meet the needs of every child in their class • Has high expectations and a commitment to securing outstanding progress for all learners • Has effective communication skills and the ability to establish excellent relationships with parents and other members of the school community • Is inspirational for their own professional development and keen to share ideas and learn from colleagues • Has a good understanding of planning, teaching and assessment in KS1 • Has a commitment to providing rich and challenging learning experiences across the curriculum for all children • Has experience of working with and supporting children with a range of SEND We can offer:- • Delightful children with a positive attitude towards their learning • A supportive and friendly team of colleagues who are willing to share their expertise and learn from one another • A dedicated governing body Candidates are welcome to visit the school on Monday 16th May at 3:30pm.
