Year 1 class teacher to cover maternity leave job summary
The Governors of Nether Green Infant School wish to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic and inspirational teacher to join our team. This post will be a full time post teaching in Year 1 to cover a maternity leave and is likely to be until summer 2023 or the earlier return of the post holder.
As a school we are committed to supporting the professional development of all teachers and have a very experienced staff that are keen to welcome a new teacher into their team; we welcome applications from newly or recently qualified teachers. Nether Green Infants is a happy school and our children thrive on the high quality opportunities we provide for them. We are very proud of our outcomes across school which are consistently well above national and Sheffield averages. We are looking for a teacher who:-
• Is committed to deliver high quality learning experiences which meet the needs of every child in their class
• Has high expectations and a commitment to securing outstanding progress for all learners
• Has effective communication skills and the ability to establish excellent relationships with parents and other members of the school community
• Is inspirational for their own professional development and keen to share ideas and learn from colleagues
• Has a good understanding of planning, teaching and assessment in KS1
• Has a commitment to providing rich and challenging learning experiences across the curriculum for all children
• Has experience of working with and supporting children with a range of SEND
