Year 1 Maternity Cover job summary

The Governors of Tarvin Primary School would like to appoint an excellent teacher to teach a Year 1 class full time from 1st September 2025. We expect the post to initially last for one year, although this will technically be a maternity cover post. ECT teachers are welcome to apply for this role.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about teaching this age group and will be able to demonstrate a high degree of competence in the teaching of the KS1 curriculum. Experience in and a good understanding of teaching phonics would be an advantage.
