What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join our happy and supportive teaching team from September 2023.
At Stretham we value our job-sharing class teachers and believe that such arrangements can give the children an excellent education. To allow the team to be as effective as possible, we arrange for both teachers to be in school on a Wednesday to allow shared time for PPA each week.
This post is a temporary post in the first instance for a year working in Year 1 and sharing the class with our Deputy Headteacher (who is also our SENCO).
The successful applicant will need:
- To be an excellent classroom practitioner with motivation and creativity.
- The ability to work well in a team and form positive relationships with pupils, parents and staff.
- Dedication and high expectations of themselves and the children they teach.
