Walton Church of England Primary School is a successful and very popular school situated in the village of Walton, just one mile to the west of Street and a few miles from Street and the city of Wells. We currently have 143 children aged 4-11 on roll, organised into five mixed aged classes.
We pride ourselves on the ethos of our friendly church school community. All staff and children get to know each other very well and show genuine friendship, concern, and respect for each other. We firmly believe that children do their best if they are encouraged and praised, happy children are therefore confident and motivated learners. We have high expectations of behaviour and achievement, working in close partnership with parents and carers to ensure every child can reach their full potential so they are well equipped for the next phase in their education.
