Year 5/6 Class Teacher job summary
A fantastic opportunity has arisen at Cranford CE Primary School! We are looking to recruit a passionate, caring and enthusiastic Teacher, to join our committed team, to support, inspire and lead the brilliant children in our school. The post is for 22 hours a week over 4 days. Unfortunately this position is not suitable for ECT's.

Cranford school is part of the Peterborough Diocese Education Trust, alongside other schools in the Northamptonshire, Rutland and Peterborough area. PDET is responsible for employing all staff and managing the finances and other central services for the Academies in the Trust. These services include HR support; facilities and premises; procurement and school effectiveness. The Trust provides direct support for Teaching and Learning, to ensure our children receive the best education and that you receive the best support to deliver this.

We are looking to appoint someone who:
- Is enthusiastic, approachable, and friendly
- Ensures all children feel safe, happy, and able to learn
- Has an understanding of the curriculum and pastoral needs of primary aged children
- Ideally has experience in years 5/6
- Is able to deliver high quality first teaching
- Has the potential to lead subject/s
- Is confident in using a range of behaviour management strategies
- Has the ability to work effectively, flexibly, and independently and above all is a committed team member
- Is supportive of the ethos of a Church and Trust school
