Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners? We are a welcoming village primary school, part of a dynamic multi academy trust, dedicated to providing a nurturing and inclusive environment for all our pupils. We are currently seeking a strong and enthusiastic Upper Key Stage 2 practitioner to join our Year 5 team from January 2027. We are looking for someone who combines excellent classroom practice and high expectations with the ability to build positive, meaningful relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
As a Classroom Teacher at Huncote, you will play a key role in helping every child flourish. You will deliver engaging and inclusive learning experiences, foster a nurturing classroom environment and support pupils to achieve their full potential academically, socially and emotionally. Working collaboratively with colleagues, families and the wider school community, you will contribute to our culture of high expectations, belonging and continuous improvement, ensuring children experience life in all its fullness.
About the Role:
We are looking for a strong and confident Upper Key Stage 2 practitioner to join our Year 5 team. You will be an experienced classroom teacher with high expectations for learning and behaviour, able to create a calm, positive and purposeful environment where pupils feel supported, understood and ready to learn.
You will have exceptional behaviour management skills, using consistency, clear expectations and positive relationships to help pupils make good choices and succeed. Just as importantly, you will understand the value of building meaningful and positive relationships with pupils, taking the time to know the children you teach and creating a classroom culture where every child feels valued and able to flourish.
Strong relationships extend beyond the classroom at Huncote, so we are looking for someone who will communicate openly and positively with parents, carers and colleagues, working in partnership with others to achieve the best possible outcomes for our pupils.
