What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidate will be joining a happy, friendly school – where staff, parents/carers and children work together.

You will need to:

  • Be be an excellent practitioner who places children at the heart of everything
  • Have extensive knowledge of the National Curriculum and experience of translating it to meet the developmental needs of children in your class
  • Adapt provision and practice to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils
  • Make accurate and productive use of formative and summative assessment
  • Use positive behaviour management to foster the emotional well-being of all pupils and ensure a safe learning environment
  • Deliver excellent learning and progress outcomes for all children
  • Be highly resilient and demonstrate a proactive, solution-focused approach to personal and professional development.
