Year 5 class teacher - Maternity Leave job summary

Cotgrave Candleby Lane School is looking to appoint a Year 5 teacher to cover a maternity leave from September 1st 2025.

Cotgrave Candleby Lane School is a thriving large school located at the heart of our community. You will be joining a strong and supportive staff team who are creative and innovative and provide the best learning opportunities for all of our pupils. We are always striving to develop, learn and improve our practice.

To ensure that you have a comprehensive induction and hand over of the class, you will be able to spend the first week of term team teaching alongside the current class teacher. Where possible we would also like to invite you in during the summer term to meet the staff, children and parents and spend a day planning with your team.

We provide high quality, supportive and engaging teaching for all the pupils in our school. You would be joining an exceptional and supportive wider team of professionals, who are relentless in our pursuit of excellence and our mission to make every day count for the children.
