What skills and experience we're looking for

Has substantial experience of teaching in Key Stage 2, preferably Year 6.

• Has a strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and statutory assessment requirements.

• Has experience of preparing pupils for KS2 SATs and securing strong pupil outcomes.

• Demonstrates high expectations of achievement, behaviour and presentation.

• Is adaptable, resilient and able to respond positively to changing priorities.

• Has excellent classroom management and organisational skills.

• Can use assessment effectively to inform teaching and accelerate progress.

• Is committed to inclusive practice and meeting the needs of all learners.

• Will actively contribute to the wider life and Christian ethos of the school.
