Our small class sizes (below 30) mean you’ll have the time and space to get to know every child. The Role - Year 6 Teacher

As our Year 6 Teacher, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring pupils achieve their very best in their final year of primary school. You will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons that stretch and support every learner.

  • Foster a positive classroom culture built on respect, responsibility, and enjoyment of learning.

  • Track and celebrate progress, ensuring pupils are well prepared for secondary transition.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to deliver a rich curriculum experience.

  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community.

What We’re Looking For

You’ll bring:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Strong experience in Key Stage 2, ideally as a Year 6 Teacher

  • Excellent curriculum knowledge and creative teaching approaches

  • A passion for wellbeing, inclusion, and achievement

  • A team player mindset and a sense of fun!
