Chantry Academy is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Year Manager to join our team. You will work closely with students, parents, and staff to ensure every pupil has the guidance, support, and encouragement they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, approachable, and passionate about nurturing young people.
Job Title: Year Manager
Location: Chantry Academy
Contract: Permanent, 37 hours per week, 42 weeks per year (39 term time weeks plus 111 annualised hours to be worked according to business need)
Working Pattern: Monday to Thursday 8am-4pm, Friday - 8am-3:30pm (these timings include a daily unpaid break of 30 minutes.
Salary: ALT Grade F Points 16-19 £25,955.06-£27,690.81 per annum (actual)

Summary of Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the day-to-day smooth running of the year team.
- Assist with day-to-day communication with parents/carers.
- Administrative support for the effective delivery of pastoral support plans
- Working with key staff to raise the attendance for year groups.
- Day to day support for pupils.
- Supporting the movement of students to interventions (e.g. seclusion/detentions).
