About Alfreton Park Community Special School
Alfreton Park is a lively, successful Special School for pupils aged 2 to 19 years, with severe and profound learning difficulties. We are looking to recruit a class teacher who has extremely high expectations to ensure children regardless of gender, ethnicity and religion achieve to the best of their ability.
Commitment to safeguarding
All staff and visitors are prohibited from having personal mobile phones on when near any pupil. All phones must be switched off and put away at all times.
All staff and visitors must wear an ID badge at all times.
Our school premises are secure and all visitors must sign in and show proof of identity.
We follow stringent safer recruitment procedures and all staff have enhanced DBS checks to ensure that they are suitable to work with vulnerable children and young adults. .
The school work closely with other agencies to ensure that pupils and families needs are met.
