On behalf of myself and my team of dedicated staff and governors, I am delighted to welcome you to Archbishop Courtenay Primary School, a place where our children feel safe and secure, and know they are cherished.

Nurture extends beyond the classroom with our offer of support to families, along with our strong belief in fostering all our relationships with kindness and compassion. Our vision is threaded throughout our school, it is its heartbeat, it shapes everything we do. Archbishop Courtenay is a safe haven for all our community, offering hope and aspiration to all our children as they travel on their journey through our school. We offer a firm foundation for our unique and diverse pupils, respecting each child’s individuality to ensure they learn to value themselves and others, not only within our school family but beyond. We do this though our broad and balanced curriculum, providing a rich menu of exciting and motivating learning activities that make creative links between all aspects of our children’s learning. We encourage our children to use their imaginations to inspire their love of learning and develop a sense of wonder.

We are guided along our spiritual path by God’s love, reflecting on the world, our lives, whilst drawing on our school values, compassion, friendship, resilience, aspiration and respect. This makes us part of a strong, resilient and proud community ready to thrive and flourish together.

Archbishop Courtenay Primary School is proud to be an active member of Aquila Trust. To find out more about the Trust, visit their website - www.aquilatrust.co.uk
