About Aureus School
Aureus School is a state of the art 11-16 co-educational comprehensive school that opened in Didcot in 2017. As a purpose built school, Aureus has new classrooms using the latest equipment such as SMART TV boards in every classroom and visualisers enabling teachers to bring learning to life and engage our learners. We are committed to providing an enhancing education where all students achieve academic success. Our inspirational and challenging curriculum allows all abilities to flourish with self-confidence to thrive. We promote inclusion of all students and recognise students’ entitlement to a broad and balanced curriculum whilst meeting their individual needs. We recognise that some students may require more support than others and we aim to plan accordingly. Every individual is valued, learning is enjoyed, success is celebrated and responsibility is shared enabling our students to grow into responsible, questioning citizens who play a full and active role in society. We are excited to collaborate with local stakeholders to shape our offer as a STEAM specialist mixed school to create choice for the wider community in southern Oxfordshire. Aureus School is a highly ambitious secondary school with a rigorous approach to academic standards. We are ambitious for educational success for all our learners. We collaborate with local stakeholders, such as Oxford University, Culham Science Centre and the Harwell Innovation Centre to shape our offer as a STEAM specialist mixed school to create choice for the wider community in Southern Oxfordshire.
