On behalf of the children, staff and governors it is with great pleasure that we welcome you to our school website! We are a friendly welcoming school with a strong Christian ethos. We are closely linked to St John’s Church and the community of Baxenden. Our vision is to encourage the academic, emotional and spiritual growth of everyone in our school family.

We have high expectations of what our children can achieve, and strive to inspire all children to develop a love of learning through our broad and balanced creative curriculum, so that they make good progress and attain their very best; becoming confident and successful individuals who can flourish in our ever-changing world. We are a school where high expectations in all areas is the norm and where the love of God motivates all actions; this means that we also respect and honour people from a diversity of faiths and cultures.
