About Birchwood Avenue Primary School

Birchwood Avenue is a one form entry primary school centrally located within Hertfordshire. It sits within the original Hatfield Garden Village, designated by the New Town Council in 1948. The school exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere for children and parents/carers, and is the heart of the community.

We have a diverse pupil intake, which adds to the richness and excitement of our school. The school itself is a postwar building in spacious grounds. We have happy children who enjoy learning in creative ways. Our staff are enthusiastic, hardworking and friendly.
