About Blakedown CofE Primary School

Blakedown C.E. Primary School is an important focal point of village life and shares close links with the church and the community. The school offers a warm and family environment for both children and their parents and it fosters a caring atmosphere for all who attend and visit the school.
At Blakedown we aim to nurture a love for life long learning and joy in doing so. We value standards and achievement but also aim to develop the children in terms of their interests and personal learning skills so that they are prepared for their future.
The children are supported well in their learning by a dedicated and caring team of staff, governors and parents. Together we hope to provide the children with a firm foundation for the future and a sense of belonging and purpose.
