As a proud member of the Aspirations Academies Trust, our vision is “To empower future generations to follow their dreams and build a society of which we can all be proud.” At Budmouth we are on a mission to provide the highest-quality educational experience for all.

Budmouth is a large 11-18 academy in beautiful Dorset, situated on the south coast. We are fortunate to have excellent facilities which are set to be even better, with our new build currently in the planning stages. We are within commutable distance of Poole, Sherborne, Purbeck, Dorchester, Portland and surrounding areas, with excellent public transport links.

We offer an ambitious and inclusive curriculum so that all of our students will learn, thrive and lead successful lives. Our extra-curricular offer is equally impressive, with a vast range of opportunities for students to engage in.

We are committed to raising the aspirations of our young people at Budmouth and this is reflected in our approach to all areas of our work. Our teaching and learning framework has been greatly influenced by Allison and Tharby’s Making Every Lesson Count, and our centralised behaviour systems mean that you are free to teach. We expect impeccable behaviour from our students, who really appreciate staff going above and beyond on a daily basis.
