About Camms CofE (Aided) Primary School

Camm’s School is a friendly, exciting place which offers a warm welcome for pupils, parents, staff and governors. We are a Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School, providing education for pupils aged 3 to 11 year. The school has a Christian ethos and has created a caring atmosphere in which children are valued and given the confidence to grow. The staff at Camm’s are dedicated and work hard to enable each child to reach his or her potential, and our vision that 'Every Child Succeeds'. The broad and balanced curriculum is carefully planned to meet the needs of all children. We have high expectations of all adults and children involved in school life, and encourage everyone to do their best.  As a Church of England School, we base our teaching on Christian Values and use the stories of Jesus and the Bible to help children to develop their spiritual side through understanding and reflection of the lessons told. At Camm’s we firmly believe education to be a partnership between home and school and actively encourage involvement by parents in all aspects of school life. An effective link between home and school will help your child to have a successful time at our school. We want children to be prepared for their future by being curious, trustworthy, tolerant, full of respect and pride and have a love for learning.  They have high expectations of themselves and others around them and feel they have the social, emotional and moral well-being to make the right choices in life.  By the time children leave us in Year 6, they should be able to look back and say 'I'm ready for whatever comes next'.
