Castleside offers a warm and friendly environment in which to work.

I would encourage you to come and visit our school to see and feel the wonderful working atmosphere. We encourage all children and staff to develop to their fullest potential enabling each one to grow in confidence, knowledge and understanding.

We set high expectations and aim to build resilience in all aspects of school life.

We recently became part of NCDAT and are beginning the next exciting chapter in our school’s journey. This new partnership will enable opportunities for career development and progression so that you can realise your ambition of achieving the next step in your career. Within our school, you will have many opportunities to develop your knowledge and skills and take on roles and responsibilities, to build your skills set.

Community is extremely important to us, here in Castleside Primary. We have strong links within the locality and further afield. We use these to enhance learning across the curriculum. We encourage all staff to engage with this ethos and deliver a curriculum that provides meaningful, challenging opportunities to develop the whole child.
