There are circa 1025 students on the school roll, approximately 100 of whom study in the sixth form. We are situated in the market town of Chesham, Buckinghamshire in the Chiltern Hills, designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Situated close to the M40 and the M25, Chesham is on the end of Metropolitan line of the London Underground and is 28 miles north-west of London. There is ample parking on-site. Renting here is cheaper than in central London and if you enjoy travelling, it takes about 40 minutes by car to Heathrow.
The Elgiva Theatre, Lowndes Park and an open-air heated swimming pool are just some of the many public amenities available in the town. Chesham is renowned for its community spirit and there are many recreational and community groups catering for the diverse and active population.
Chiltern Hills Academy aims to provide an environment that excites, motivates and challenges students, encouraging lifelong learning and an interest in the world around them. The secondary school is founded on Christian values and principles, with an ethos that promotes personal responsibility, self-respect, respect for the beliefs and views of others, self-confidence and a commitment to success and achievement.
