About Fairlands Primary School

This is an exciting opportunity to join a school that is lively, friendly and constantly moving forward. We are a large 3 form entry primary school set in expansive grounds over two sites. Our school motto is 'Reaching High' and the school community is dedicated to raising achievement for all pupils. The school has a progressive and positive ethos and all members of staff are committed to working together as a team to make a difference to the lives of the children in our care. The school uses creative approaches to deliver a thematic curriculum from the Early Years to Year 6 and is convinced that children thrive when they are engaged in meaningful contexts to their learning. We were last inspected by Ofsted in September 2021 and were judged good in all areas. The school is part of The Claxton Trust, a small multi academy trust focued on inspiration through collaboration. We welcome applications from high quality practitioners, who are looking to be part of the team as we move to outstanding.
