About Fender Primary School

Fender Primary is a mainstream school fully committed to being an inclusive environment of teaching and learning.

The organisation of the school has been developed over the past 10 years to meet the needs of all of our children. There are 230/240 pupils on role and the learning takes place in three tiers.

The Governors are privileged to provide places for 16 ASC pupils for the Local Authority who have EHCPs and are placed by the SEN team.

Fender has 47% SEN pupils within mainstream and those with high needs are taught in High Need Hubs in five classes.

There is a dedicated staff team, which is highly experienced and trained in approaches to the teaching of pupils with SEND, ATMH and trauma.
