About Glenfield Primary School

At Glenfield Primary School, we have enthusiastic children, dedicated staff, a caring environment and a wonderful building. We work in partnership with parents, trustees, governors and the community to provide a well-planned, broad and ambitious curriculum, adapted to the wide-ranging needs of our pupils. We have high expectations of all our pupils and are dedicated to ensuring that all are supported to achieve the best possible standards.
As our mission statement states,

The school also has a specialist Speech and Language Provision which takes children from across Leicestershire who have speech, language and communication needs.
We are proud to be a caring school where the well-being and development of every individual is of paramount importance. Throughout different areas of the curriculum, children are given the opportunity to develop academically, socially, emotionally and creatively, so that they are able to thrive as they mature and grow. Overall, children feel safe and secure. We have a strong focus on values and building children’s character skills and we aim to embed these into all aspects of teaching and learning.
