About Gloucester Nursery School

Gloucester Nursery School has been part of the Northampton community since 1950, and you can feel that history the moment you walk through the door. Generations of families have trusted us with their children, and that sense of belonging still runs through everything we do. Our ethos, every child and family matters, isn't just a slogan: it's the way the staff greet the children each morning, the way we build relationships with families and the way we create a space where children feel safe, confident and ready to explore.  We offer excellent Nursery education and care on a part-time and full-time basis from age 2 up until children leave to attend Primary school. basis to children aged 2, 3 and 4 years. The nursery employs 20 staff and is a friendly, welcoming environment. Staff work together to create a nurturing ethos and a warm caring environment for all.  The well-maintained site is over 2 buildings with extensive outside spaces.  We pride ourselves on our inclusive ethos and practice and have our own internal specialist provision. Facilities are very good, with extensive outdoor areas and learning environments are well resourced.  Parents are encouraged to play an active part in the life of the nursery.
