Grenoside Community Primary School is a warm, welcoming and friendly school that is proud of its place in the community. Situated in the north of Sheffield with beautiful surroundings, we privileged to have excellent outdoor spaces and an inspiring surrounding environment in which to work. We are co-educational and have just under 350 on roll with pupils coming from Grenoside and from the wider local area.

We are proud to be part of Peak Edge, a strong and supportive Trust that works collaboratively to share expertise, resources, and best practice. Being part of Peak Edge means our staff benefit from high-quality professional development, opportunities for career progression, and access to a network of colleagues who are passionate about delivering exceptional education.

Commitment to safeguarding

Grenoside Community Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (ROA) 1974. All shortlisted candidates will be asked to disclose any relevant cautions or convictions prior to interview. The amendments to the ROA Exceptions Order 1975 (2013 & 2020) provide that certain convictions and cautions are 'protected' and are therefore not subject to disclosure to employers.
