About Hampton Junior School

Welcome to Hampton Junior School; a vibrant and forward-looking centre for learning which has been at the heart of the Hampton Village community for over 100 years. We are proud of its history and hold dear the traditional values of respect, hard work and responsibility.

“Be the best you can be.” This simple statement is at the heart of our aspirations; running throughout our school and underpins the values, curriculum, teaching and expectations of all. Hampton Juniors is a happy and friendly environment which enables all children to thrive. We have developed an active, exciting and fast-paced curriculum which seeks to stimulate, engage and stretch all our children whilst developing a lifelong love of learning.

Through personalised learning and high expectations, all children are able to flourish and experience success. We are a strong, caring and supportive school community where children learn to take responsibility for themselves whilst being encouraged to value and care for others.

We are very pleased with our latest Ofsted report but we are constantly striving to improve further. There are many exciting projects, both current and planned, to enhance the education of our children. We are always gratified to see the achievements of all our children and we know that successful education relies on a real partnership between pupils, parents and teachers. Our work within the local community, supported by longstanding friends and parents, has helped our children develop and succeed into responsible young citizens.
