About Hooton Pagnell All Saints Church of England Primary School

We are incredibly proud of our very special school which is situated in the picturesque, semi-rural village of Hooton Pagnell in South Yorkshire.
At present, there are 83 children on roll; small class sizes ensure that every child feels valued and nurtured whilst completing their exciting and varied learning journey. The present building opened in 1970, replacing the old Hooton Pagnell School built in 1856. Over the past few years, the school has undergone significant refurbishment and cosmetic enhancements, ensuring our internal learning environments are as magnificent as our outdoor spaces.
We are a Church of England Primary school and a member of the James Montgomery Academy Trust. Located on the border of Doncaster and Wakefield, our school attracts children from a wide catchment area across both South and West Yorkshire.
At All Saints Hooton Pagnell, we take pride in developing outstanding teaching and learning by holding the highest expectations of all our pupils and knowing the children well. We challenge all children to strive for academic, creative, sporting and personal accomplishment within a broad, vibrant and enriched curriculum.
Our students are given time to explore subjects and develop deep understanding. We celebrate perseverance; resilience and risk-taking, ensuring children welcome a challenge and are not frightened to make mistakes. We encourage children to take ownership of and responsibility for their learning, so they have the confidence and curiosity to ask questions, solve problems and respond to quality feedback.
Children are praised for hard work, determination and having a positive attitude. We want all our children to feel happy and secure in school and we will make every effort to create a cheerful atmosphere where each child is shown respect, allowing them to develop as unique learners and people.
Working together with parents as partners in their children's learning is vital if we are to achieve optimum learning for each child in a happy atmosphere. Every decision within the school is made by firstly considering what is in the best interest of the children. The children lie at the heart of everything we do.
