About Jewellery Quarter Academy
Jewellery Quarter Academy is a team that holds the highest ambitions for students, rooted in love, care and respect for all our community. We consider all of our students at JQA our ‘gems’ – their futures are so precious. Our mission is to support our students to go on to shine in society: to become the leaders of tomorrow. Great GCSE grades and a depth of character around our CORE values are two ‘golden’ keys to opening these doors to students.
Our committed team is focused on one goal: to improve the life chances of our students so they go on to shine in society, and we put each young person’s interests at the heart of every decision we make, working with parents and carers in collaboration and partnership. We only succeed as a team.
We also take advantage of our city-centre location to offer exciting opportunities to students through our many established partnerships. Alongside an ambitious academic curriculum that both supports and stretches students to achieve the best possible qualifications they can, we offer a broad range of enriching opportunities in sport, the arts and citizenship to build confidence, character and open doors to new possibilities. We develop by taking on new challenges.
