About Kingmoor Junior School

Kingmoor Junior School is situated in a residential suburb two miles north of Carlisle City Centre close to exit 44 of the M6 motorway. It is an above average sized school with 337 pupils on roll currently divided into twelve single age classes.

The school is renowned for its musical and sporting accomplishments, and the breadth of the curriculum that it delivers within and around the school day.

The Governors and parents play an interested, active and positive part in the life of the school, and both support the school exceptionally well. We receive the majority of our intake from Kingmoor Nursery and Infant School which is situated on the same site.
