Malvern Wyche

Malvern Wyche C of E Primary is a small, semi-rural school just outside Great Malvern, serving the village of Wyche and its surroundings. We have an inclusive and warm ethos (our motto is "Together We Soar") coupled with high expectations which lead to high academic standards. With a backdrop of the Malvern Hills and views out over the Severn Valley as far as Bredon Hill, it's a wonderful place to work and learn. We have an intake of 20 children organised as 5 classes: 4 mixed-age classes of 30 pupils and one Year 6 class of 20.

We are committed to an exciting, engaging and hands-on curriculum and to excellence in teaching and learning. Our ethos is rooted in personal growth through authentic experiences, independence and mutual respect. As a Voluntary Controlled C of E Church School, we care deeply for our pupil’s spiritual welfare and have a close relationship with All Saint's Church, which is right next door.

We are an Ofsted and SIAMS Good School. Our most recent Ofsted (June 2025) said "The Wyche is a caring and inclusive school" and noted our "a calm and orderly, environment, free from disruption", that "Staff are determined for all pupils to achieve well academically. Pupils achieve this ambition, and they achieve well" and that "Staff appreciate the support from the school and value efforts to consider their workload and well-being." It's a wonderful place to work.

Come and be a part of the adventure. We are an equal opportunities employer which values diversity and believes that everyone has the potential to contribute regardless of their protected characteristics. We welcome applications from suitably qualified candidates of all backgrounds.

St Joseph's

We are a small, welcoming Catholic school situated at the foot of the beautiful Malvern Hills. We welcome children from Catholic faith, all other faiths and those from families with no denomination. We are extremely proud of our friendly, talented, hard-working team, who are committed to achieving the best possible outcomes for our leaners; within a caring, inclusive and nurturing environment. Children are at the heart of what we do and we recognise and celebrate the individuality of every child that joins our community. We pride ourselves on offering a broad, enriching curriculum for all children built on the strength of our school values, which are central to school life. We strive to inspire our pupils to be lifelong learners, equipping each and every pupil with the skills, knowledge and mindset to succeed in the next stage of their education.

Learning at St Joseph’s has no limits. Our school grounds offer a wonderful outdoor learning environment, rich with opportunities for hands-on exploration, creativity, and real-world learning. Our children are regularly immersed in forest school, developing their problem solving and teamwork skills, fostering independence, and building resilience.

St Joseph's is a caring community, a family growing in faith and belief with a love of learning. Our vision is to:Create a safe and caring environment with positive relationships and high expectations, where our uniqueness is respected and celebrated and where we develop skills and confidence for an ever changing world.
