About Manley Park Primary School

Manley Park is a large, vibrant, progressive and friendly school. It is split across two sites, within a culturally rich and diverse area of Manchester. Creating a 'Manley Park' community where everyone belongs is key to our drive and success, and this is built on the foundations of our six values: respect, understanding, compassion, responsibility, positivity and patience.

This is an incredibly exciting time for Manley Park Primary School. We have worked hard to create a rich learning environment for our pupils and staff. At Manley Park, children are active participants in their own learning: all classrooms are talking and thinking places where pupils are expected to continually reflect and deepen their understanding. Getting stuck and taking risks are aspects of learning which are celebrated and seen as essential to moving forward. Assessment for learning and collaborative approaches underpin our pedagogy. Our questioning and dialogue focus on developing thinking skills. Philosophy for Children is a strength of our school, helping to inspire resilient, thoughtful, independent learners.

We are striving to build on the things we do well to give our pupils memorable, meaningful learning experiences. Our curriculum helps children to understand the world, and empowers them to make a positive impact on it. We provide a wide range of opportunities to help them develop their sense of self. We inspire our pupils to uncover new interests and strive to nurture and develop their individual talents.
