About Marsden Infant and Nursery School

Our school

We are a thriving, successful and happy infant and nursery school located within the village of Marsden, in the beautiful Colne Valley, approximately 6 miles west of Huddersfield. The school is an LA maintained school with very strong links to a friendly and supportive local community. The school has 140 children currently on roll, and offers a governor led nursery, and two reception classes and three mixed year classes across KS1. The school works closely with other early years settings in the village, and with Marsden Junior School where most of our children progress to.
