About Merit Hospital School and Medical Pupil Referral Unit

Merit is a small, local authority maintained school in Stoke on Trent for secondary school children with medical and mental health needs. We are also responsible for providing education at The University Hospitals of North Midlands.
The school offers a safe, secure and nurturing environment with skilled and experienced teachers and supportive, wrap-around care for all our pupils.
