About Monkseaton High School

Monkseaton High School is a smaller than average, 14-19 mixed secondary school with a 6th Form, with a genuinely inclusive ethos.We are proud to be part of the North Tyneside Learning Trust and have embraced the many opportunities this has afforded our students. The strong leadership, dedicated staffing body and the relentless drive for improvement across all measures, has resulted in a sustained upward trend of achievement consistently in line with or above national. Significantly so in the majority of threshold areas, especially when comparing to similar school contexts. Ultimately ensuring that every student has the opportunity to thrive and achieve in our school. We are a happy school that takes pride in our ethos and our track record of fostering positive relationships, enabling us to work in genuine collaboration with our staff, students, their families and other stakeholders. We have a very strong CPD programme in school and are committed to supporting and developing staff.
