About Monkseaton Middle School

Monkseaton Middle School is a warm, caring and inclusive school. Our children range from 9 to 13 years old (Years 5 –8) and mainly join us from two first schools in the immediate local area, as well as from further away in North Tyneside.
We are a three-form entry school, serving a very social and economically diverse area. We are an inclusive school, serving a wide community. Our children are warm, caring and enthusiastic to learn. We have a larger than national average proportion of children with additional needs and a larger than national average proportion of children entitled to free school meals. We are also fortunate to be entirely accessible for children and adults with physical disabilities.
