Moortown Primary is a happy and healthy place to learn.

A small school with a big heart, tucked away in Moortown, North Leeds.

‘Moortown is such a caring and nuturing environment which allows children to grow academically as well as emotionally. We have been so impressed with the communication through the last year and all the clear messages and procedures put in place to create a safe environment. We hold Moortown in high regards and feel very lucky that our child and us are part of the school community’ (Annual parents’ survey, 2021). Ofsted judge us to be outstanding and our Key Stage 2 SAT results are amongst the highest in the country: consistently over 90% of our children attain nationally expected levels or higher and make expected progress or better.
