About Newlands Primary School

Newlands Primary is a fantastic school to work in where we are all passionate about ensuring every child and member of staff achieves their full potential. We have children who love to learn, a highly inclusive approach and we believe our children deserve the very best teachers who make learning magical. Our staff team is highly skilled, hardworking and dedicated to making a difference in our nurturing school setting. Along with this, we have a fantastic environment, great IT facilities and extensive outdoor learning spaces. We are also home to the Resource Base for Deaf Children, Owls Base, which brings with it unique facilities and expertise to support our deaf children.

We are seeking to employ an experienced, knowledgeable SENCo to join our school leadership team and drive high quality inclusive practice across the school. This is a strategic role for someone who can lead with clarity, confidence and compassion, ensuring that pupils with additional needs receive the support they need to learn well, progress strongly and thrive.

We are particularly looking for someone with a strong working knowledge of special educational needs, who understands how to create environments and approaches that enable all learners to access the curriculum and experience success.
