NGHS is an outstanding (2022 & 2019) girls' grammar school in the north Midlands. The school is a single academy within Telford & Wrekin local authority. The school has won many awards in recent years for its hard work in improving pastoral care, mental health support and is the 2020 West Midlands Secondary School of the Year.

Students at NGHS are polite, courteous and keen to learn. Parents are supportive and staff are very friendly. The well-being of all staff is taken very seriously - see the Well-being Charter in our application pack.
