About Oakwood Primary School

Oakwood is a popular, Ofsted outstanding, 1.5 form entry primary school in a leafy, residential area of St Albans. We have beautiful, spacious grounds with well-equipped outdoor learning areas, garden and sports facilities, to enable children to really benefit from our outdoor space.

We are a successful school with a friendly, dedicated and talented staff team, ably supported by experienced governors and an active PTA. The school is a key part of our local community here in St Albans, and we maintain a busy calendar of events to enhance these connections.
