About Outwood Academy Acklam

Outwood Academy Acklam, which was the first Outwood school in Teesside, has almost 1200 students on roll. At its latest inspection, it was judged to be a GOOD school with OUTSTANDING leadership. We are a diverse and vibrant 11-16 academy, based in the friendly, north-east town of Middlesbrough.

We are a welcoming and supportive academy, with a relentless determination to provide the very best education for every child.
