About Rumboldswhyke CofE Primary School

Rumboldswhyke Church of England Primary School is a small, inclusive primary school located at the heart of Chichester. In October 2020, the school became part of the Bishop Luffa Learning Partnership, working collaboratively with other schools to further strengthen provision and outcomes for all pupils. The school currently has approximately 127 pupils on roll, spanning Early Years Foundation Stage through to Year 6. We are proud of our nurturing ethos and our commitment to meeting the needs of every child, including those with additional needs and barriers to learning. At Rumboldswhyke, we believe that children learn best when their learning is meaningful and purposeful. Our curriculum is delivered through carefully planned “learning experiences,” each centred around a key question and underpinned by three or four Christian values. These values are closely linked to our collective worship programme, enabling pupils to explore and reflect on their meaning across different contexts, both past and present, and consider their relevance in today’s world. We are committed to ensuring that all pupils, including those requiring additional support, are engaged and able to succeed.
