About Sacred Heart Catholic High School

We are immensely proud of our school where, in the very best tradition of Sacred Heart education, we value each of our students. We have an excellent learning environment and an amazing team of staff. As the examination results show, our students achieve the highest standards of academic success and progress and we aim now to take this even further so that all our girls leave us well equipped for their future.
You will see from the Ofsted inspection report November 2013 that we are a flourishing and outstanding school in every respect. We are fully committed to the development of the whole child, and we try in all that we do to live our Christian values, so that students learn from our models of kindness, commitment and being satisfied only with achieving the very best standards in personal and academic areas. Charitable and community ventures are prominent and are highly valued. Attendance and behaviour are excellent, within a framework of high expectations and support from parents, who greatly appreciate our school.
The school is extremely popular and oversubscribed. We have a broad comprehensive intake with a good balance of attainment and background. There is an excellent pastoral team and all staff have pastoral responsibilities. The teaching departments each have specialist support staff.
