About Selborne Primary School

The governors of this highly successful school are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Assistant Headteacher.  The successful candidate will join an experienced, committed and innovative Leadership Team, who are relentless in achieving the best for pupils. You will be trusted in your role, as leader for a core subject (English for the remainder of the 23/24 academic year) and as AHT with responsibility for an age range in the school (EYFS and KS1 for the remainder of 23/24 academic year). Significant experience of leadership in FS and KS1 would be essential to apply for this role.  You will have a 50% teaching commitment (in Year 1 for the remainder of the 23/24 academic year) which allows for plenty of Senior Leadership time to contribute to school improvement initiatives and directly raise standards. With our motto of ‘Inspire and Achieve’, you will model our positive values through excellent relationships with children and adults alike.
