About Shoeburyness High School

Shoeburyness High School is an inclusive comprehensive academy in the heart of the community, part of the wider family of SECAT schools. Oversubscribed every year, we have a reputation as a friendly, caring school and as a place where positive relationships are fostered and sustained.
Our seven-year curriculum offer is diverse, rich and delivered by dedicated, skilled and highly qualified practitioners to ensure every child has the best opportunities for success and happiness. Our children have access to a wide range of extra-curricular opportunities; sport, drama and music play a central part of our offer, as well as a wide-ranging variety of clubs and activities across the school.
Supported by a strong, committed pastoral and support team, our young people are able to develop the skills, knowledge, and resilience for their lives beyond Shoeburyness High School.
