About Sneinton St Stephen's CofE Primary School

We are an inner city, Church of England Primary School dedicated to providing an exceptional quality of education for our pupils, in partnership with Transform Trust and Southwell and Nottingham Diocese. The governors and staff work together with parents and the community to foster within the school, a culture of inclusion and high expectation underpinned by our Christian values. As our school motto statement states, ‘Together we can achieve’

“Everyone in this very diverse community recognises and appreciates that the school successfully promotes understanding and mutual respect amongst people from a wide variety of cultural and faith backgrounds.” SIAMs Report 2016

We endeavour to provide a happy, safe, stimulating and challenging environment in which all pupils are given an equal opportunity to progress to their highest level of personal and academic achievement.

The children experience a creative curriculum, underpinned by our Christian values, that encourages curiosity and independent learning. We enrich the curriculum with visits and visitors and offer a wide selection of clubs and activities, encouraging pupils to develop their creative and sporting activities as well as their academic abilities.

“The school, through its distinctive Christian Character, is outstanding at meeting the needs of all learners.” SIAMs Report 2016
