About Sompting Village Primary School

Sompting Village Primary is a popular two-form entry school situated at the heart of Sompting, providing a village school feel to the pupils and families within the area. We are located within easy reach of both the South Downs National Park, the beach and nearby towns of Brighton and Worthing. There are also excellent transport routes within walking distance, allowing access to London in less than ninety minutes.

The school was founded in 2008 with the merger of the existing first and middle schools. It benefits from two large school halls, a computer suite, practical room, home economics room and group rooms. There is also a community room, where our breakfast and after school clubs are based, and large communal areas. Outside, the school benefits from large playing fields, three playgrounds, a pond and a wooded area – perfect for our forest school activities.
