About St Columb Minor Academy

Our primary school is situated in the centre of St Columb Minor, close to the beautiful Newquay beaches and our new Newquay neighbourhood of Nansledan.

We have developed an international focus here at St Columb Minor, using elements of the International Primary Curriculum to prepare our children for tomorrow’s world. We believe that, when children understand who they are, where they come from and what impact they have on this world, they develop an awareness of what they can do individually and collectively to make this a better world. We call this ‘learning to ride the wave of life’.
