About St Helen's Church of England Primary School, Cliffe

St. Helen’s Church of England Primary School is a friendly, single form entry, voluntary controlled school situated in the village of Cliffe on the Hoo Peninsula. We enjoy a peaceful, village location in a one storey building with extensive grounds, located just minutes from the M2.

Commitment to safeguarding

At St. Helen’s CEP School the health, safety and well-being of every child is our top priority. We expect staff, governors and volunteers to share this commitment to safeguarding.

We listen to our pupils and take seriously what they tell us. All staff are trained in Child Protection. Staff are trained to look out for signs of physical/emotional harm or neglect and are required to report these.

The procedures which we follow have been laid down by the Medway Safeguarding Team and the school's Child Protection Policy is in line with this.

We actively support the Government's Prevent Agenda.
