Welcome from Mrs F Jackson (Headteacher) We are a small, ‘Outstanding’, Catholic school with a big heart, firmly established within the Standish community.​​Each day I am impressed by our fantastic children and their enthusiasm and joy for learning, and also by our experienced, highly skilled staff team, who show their commitment and love for what they do. Visitors comment on our children’s excellent behaviour and care for each other, and our warm, family feel.​Here at Saint Marie’s Jesus is at the centre of everything we do as we learn through faith, love and respect. Every day we model, nurture and celebrate the Gospel Values of being kind, faithful, honest, welcoming, trustworthy, loving and a team!​Our curriculum is ambitious for all children – Expressive Arts is timetabled weekly for every class, we make use of our beautiful outside spaces for learning, we are committed to mental health and well being and have been awarded recently with the Platinum Sports Award. Children thrive at Saint Marie’s through our nurturing of individual talents and our high expectations both academically and in every area of school life and personal development.
